How can a league that was hastily put together end up with 5 teams that will be NCAA tournament bound? Great question, but more importantly this is a great performance from the top five teams in the league, Louisville, Cincinnati, Connecticut, Memphis, SMU. No one expected this to happen but it did. This will set the stage for a great finish in the American Athletic Conference Tournament. Of course Louisville will be leaving the conference next year for the ACC. However all five of these teams will make a difference in the NCAA Tournament.
