Bail Out Passed In Senate

The Senate stood up to the plate and passed the bail out bill. It is a bill that appears to be the right thing to do. It will keep the economy going. Open up credit lines and give America a chance to breathe. So now it time for the Congress to pass this legislation. It is all about credit ratings and the individual consumers ability to get car loans, home loans, and business loans. It is better to be proactive, because in the long run it affects Main Street Americans, who simply want to make a living and make an honest wage.

So not matter what we think about the Bail Out, our country is in crises and we must do something about it. By being proactive and not reactive. By getting out in front of this measure we give ourselves a chance to win as a country. Senator Obama and McCain both were in Washington to come together with other Senators to pass this bill. It is a measure for Main Street, not for Wall street. It unfreezes the credit market and gets America back to work again.

The Senate, both Republicans and Democrats, made it possible for all parties to come together to pass this credit life saving bill. The credit crunch, the instability of the Dow and Wall Street were at stake. The Senate helped restore the confidence and optimism and belief that America can be on it feet again. So we have a chance now and it is time for America to go to work together to bail the country out of this economic mess.

OBama Wins Debate According to CNN and CBS Poll

According to a CNN Poll 51% of those polled thought Barack Obama did a better job in Friday night’s debates than Barack Obama. Obama also leads McCain in a CBS News/New York Times Poll 47%-42 % taken before the debates and before McCain made his announcement to temporarily halt his campaign. The debate helped many uncommitted voters to improve their opinion of Obama. The uncommitted voters said that Obama won the debate according to a CBS Poll, Obama won, 39% to 24%.

The uncommitted voters who watched the debate said they were impressed by Obama’s poise and knowledge about the issues, and that he was more knowledgeable about the issues than they previously thought. They also felt McCain this not control himself well under pressure, that he was angry and bad tempered, and felt that he talked too much about the past.

McCain Made A Questionable Erratic Decision In Canceling Debate Appearance

Is John McCain the dysfunctional candidate? A couple of weeks ago he said the “Fundamentals of the Economy are strong”. Now his running mate, Sarah Palin, said today that the United States may be headed for a “Depression”. McCain’s campaign is in a word bizarre. Today he announced that he wanted to suspend his campaign and and cancel Friday Debate. At no time in history, has this ever happened.

Americans we need to question, John McCain’s equilibrium. Is he balanced enough to lead this country? Is his thinking rational? The answer is a resounding NO!. McCain has a motive; and as we have learned, he is a big fan of the shock move! Remember Sarah Palin? You know do something shocking that no one expects to take the spotlight away from Obama. It typical McCain. He calls himself a Maverick; but he has always been erratic and reckless throughout his life.

He finished in the botton 5% of his class at the Naval Academy. McCain admits this himself. He tried to live up to high expectations from his military family, but seemed to struggle with discipline, even when he studied to be a Naval Pilot. He would not read the pilot books on how to fly and operate a plane and he crashed at least two planes, not saying they were related to his reluctance to study, but one has to wonder about his hot head erratic behavior and where he could lead this country.

Do we really want McCain anywhere near a nuclear button at 3 AM in the morning? He would certainly push the button with out consulting anyone; perhaps only because he decided that is what he would do. McCain is erratic and perhaps more than a little unpredictable. A this point in time those qualities are not what we need in a leader of the most influential nation in the free world.

Obama Urges To Stop Greed and Irresponsibility- Urge Your Congressional Representatives and Senators To Vote No

Friend —

The era of greed and irresponsibility on Wall Street and in Washington has created a financial crisis as profound as any we have faced since the Great Depression.

Congress and the President are debating a bailout of our financial institutions with a price tag of $700 billion or more in taxpayer dollars. We cannot underestimate our responsibility in taking such an enormous step.

Whatever shape our recovery plan takes, it must be guided by core principles of fairness, balance, and responsibility to one another.

Please sign on to show your support for an economic recovery plan based on the following:

• No Golden Parachutes — Taxpayer dollars should not be used to reward the irresponsible Wall Street executives who helmed this disaster.

• Main Street, Not Just Wall Street — Any bailout plan must include a payback strategy for taxpayers who are footing the bill and aid to innocent homeowners who are facing foreclosure.

• Bipartisan Oversight — The staggering amount of taxpayer money involved demands a bipartisan board to ensure accountability and oversight.
Show your support and encourage your friends and family to join you:

The failed economic policies and the same corrupt culture that led us into this mess will not help get us out of it. We need to get to work immediately on reforming the broken government — and the broken politics — that allowed this crisis to happen in the first place.

And we have to understand that a recovery package is just the beginning. We have a plan that will guarantee our long-term prosperity — including tax cuts for 95 percent of families, an economic stimulus package that creates millions of new jobs and leads us towards energy independence, and health care that is affordable to every American.

It won’t be easy. The kind of change we’re looking for never is.

But if we work together and stand by these principles, we can get through this crisis and emerge a stronger nation.

Thank you,

Obama’s Consistent Message On The Economy Pays Off

The tide appears to be changing for Barack Obama. Throughout the primary campaign he has focused on key issues and specific campaign standards that have proved to be key that have placed him in a position to capitalize on possible game changing occurrences.

Obama has hammered home his stance on domestic issues from the start, even though domestic issues were not always the primary issues concerning voters. The primary issue of the month often changed concerning voters. Ranging from the war in Iraq, lipstick on a pig, the number of homes McCain has, to Sarah Palin and the first dude, Todd Palin.

But lurching behind the scene, ever presence was Obama’s view on the economy. Something that was not on the minds of many Americans. But last week out of no where with the onset of the bail out crises, Obama constant theme of tax cuts for 95% of Americans suddenly was thrust front and center.

Now Americans are taking notice to his constant message, because of fustration with the way Republicans have handled the bailout crises. Americans are looking for change and because of Obama’s consistent message he is seen as the candidate best able to handle the American economy.

Hillary Clinton May Be Planning Another Run For the White House

Hillary Clinton may be planning another run for the White House. The half hearted support that she is providing Obama is proof that she is by no means interested in Obama claiming the White House. Husband Bill is not going out of his way as well. But Obama is holding his own despite this lack of support. Click the link to the story to find out more.

Watch Obama’s Message On The Troubled Economy (Falling Stocks and Bail Outs)

Friend —

The economy hit a new low this week, and in every part of the country, people like you are feeling it.

The recent financial disasters — from the collapse of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac to the historic drop in the stock market — are not just a string of bad luck. They are the result of years of bad decisions made in favor of big corporate special interests instead of America’s working families.

More than 600,000 Americans have lost their jobs since January. Home foreclosures are skyrocketing, and home values are plunging. Gas prices are at an all-time high, and we’re still spending more than $10 billion every month on a war in Iraq that should never have been waged.

John McCain’s campaign is doing everything it can to focus attention on false personal attacks and distractions — but there’s too much at stake for that kind of politics.

I need your help to get the conversation back on track.

I recorded a two-minute TV ad about our economy and my plan to solve this crisis.
For eight years, Bush-McCain economic policies have favored reckless deregulation and huge tax loopholes for big corporations. Now, as these corporations crumble, American taxpayers are facing costly bailouts.

More of the same failed ideas are not going to solve our economic problems.

I’m calling for a $1,000 tax break for middle-class families — not just because they need help dealing with the rising costs of gas, food, and health care, but also because our economy needs to be reinvigorated from the bottom up, not the top down.

I’m proposing a second stimulus package to save over one million jobs and provide immediate relief to struggling families.

And I’ll end the “anything goes” culture on Wall Street with real regulation. We can see clearly that our economy is stronger when we protect investments and pensions, and avoid devastating bankruptcies and bailouts.

This is no ordinary time, and it shouldn’t be an ordinary election. Help keep the discussion focused on the issues.

The Word Elitist Used By Republicans Is Merely a G-rated Way of Saying “Uppity”

All along the Republicans have uttered the word elitist when referring to Barack Obama. They are very quick to use racially tinged code words to reach closet Republican racists. Elitist is merely a cleaned up way of saying “uppity”. A southern term used by whites whenever they described a well educated and confident black man or woman. That is what you have in Obama. Yet the racism of Republicans is showing in their zeal to defeat the first African American Presidential candidate ever. That’s why you have so much mean spiritedness and mocking of Obama at the Republican Convention, particularly Wednesday night, by a parade of speakers including Sarah Palin. If Republicans know God; they sure have a funny way of showing it.

Other examples of racially tinged remarks by Republicans………………….

At an April 12 event in his District , Representative Geoff Davis (R) Kentucky, said the following; “I’m going to tell you something: That boy’s finger does not need to be on the button. He could not make a decision in that simulation that related to a nuclear threat to this country.” Notice Davis used the word “BOY”, highly offensive.

Davis later sent an apology to Obama.

Georgia Republican Lynn Westmoreland described Obama and His wife as being elitist and uppity. Apparently Republicans are so taken aback by the perceived attitude and demeanor of the Obamas, that they cannot accept them for who they are. In fact they resent who they are.

Investigation In Alaska of Sarah Palin Reveals More

The theory is that the Republicans are not really using the hiatus from their own convention because of hurricane Gustav. Word is that they were blindsided by all the internet stories on Sarah Palin and needed to buy time to fully vet her, by sending operatives to Alaska in hopes of getting her off the hook.

It has been reported by many news agencies and confirmed on CNN, that these organizations are in Alaska digging up more information on Sarah Palin. It is rumored that the National Enquirer has a team in Alaska researching Sarah Palin.

What we do know is that Republican operatives have fanned out to appear on Television with the specific assignment to give bizarre non answers to specific pointed questions about Sarah Palin. They have also been instructed to spin any questions by not answering the question directly and spinning it back by implicating Barack Obama is some way. Example question: “Do you believe that Sarah Palin has the necessary experience to be Vice President”. Example answer: “Sarah Palin has more experience than Barack Obama has and has substantially more knowledge on Foreign Policy than Barack Obama”.

So Repulicans are hard at work protecting themselves until they find if the charges to trooper gate will stick on Sarah Palin. From the looks of things they will. This caused George Bush and the ‘Terminator”, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Governor of California, to both cancel their appearances at the convention.

Palin has been conspicuously absent from the scene. No one knows the agenda of the convention for the remainder of the week…………. stay tune.

Palin’s Daughter is Pregnant According To Media Reports; McCain’s Judgement in Question

Now we have a true story from the McCain camp, that Sarah Palin’s daughter is now pregnant. This is in addition to other unfounded and unsubstantiated rumors circulating around the internet regarding Palin. This is an Eagleton moment ( Eagleton was the 1972 Vice Presidential pick of Senator George McGovern who was forced to resign because he was not fully and carefully vetted by McGovern). This news raises a number of issues and questions.

Did John McCain know that Palin’s daughter was pregnant when he chose her as his Vice Presidential pick?

Was Palin forthright and upfront in informing McCain of her daughter pregnancy?

What other skeletons are in Palin’s closet that need to be disclosed?

Did some Republicans really cancel their appearances at the GOP Convention because of this latest disclosure in an attempt to distanced themselves from McCain?

What about other scandals for Palin……. Trooper Gate and the DUI of her husband 24 years ago, as reported by the mainstream media?

This whole episode is just another example of John McCain, recklessness and flawed decision making. If he can’t properly manage his personal business, how can he expect to run the Government of the Greatest Country in the world?
