The Deal- Your World?

Your world, your prism is what it's all about. Yeah you're comfortable, feeling good. Maybe you will drive down to the coast, to the beach house. Maybe you'll sell your house and buy a bigger one down the street. You're not worried about your job, what you will eat, because John at work has your back. After all he's your golf buddy.

You can't relate, no need to worry about anyone who can't make their own way. They are losers, yeah that's what they are. You know if this is your world. At least that's what you think. That God blessed your reality. Thank him that you have what you have. Don't become proud and believe you made it happen. Know that God allowed it to happen, because in the end you have no control over anythng, it's God's world and he can take it away from you at any time. You brought nothing into this world and you can carry nothing out.

Give back while you can and throw self importance and bigotry out the door. They over stayed their welcome in your home. You home is not your physical home. Your home is inside you. Give back the way the Lord expects you to do.

Kevin Ware- Example of Why College Athletes Should be Paid

Isn’t it disgusting? NCAA needs to go. Shocking that the school would seek to profit at the expense of an unpaid player. Who ever heard of such a thing in the NCAA? Comment from a fan

kevin-ware-rise-tshirtsIt is shocking that the NCAA and Louisville will try to profit from the unfortunate leg injury that Kevin Ware suffered in an elite eight game last Saturday, making up tee-shirt and selling them for $25 a pop with none of the profits going to Mr. Ware is unthinkable to us, but for  others who approved it, just another way to make a profit.
This is no shock given the video that we’ve seen over and over of a coach and coaches throwing basketballs, pushing and shoving players, and using degrading offensives slurs toward Rutgers players. The entire system of the so called student athlete needs to be revamped and the NCAA needs to be revamped as well. It is a for profit organization that only speaks up when they feel it is necessary, not when they should. Yet the student athletes suffers. They make millions of dollars for their appropriate schools. But never see a dime for it. How about the NCAA mandating that the Student athlete should be paid and compensated when they are injured.

Scholarship Players  like Kevin Ware, who suffered an injury , possibly career ending, often lose their scholarship and are forced to fend for themselves. They are injured while on scholarship but are in fact at the mercy of the school. Their future is precarious at best. The school forgets about them and recruits  still another high profile athlete to take their place. This also happen in professional sports, the difference is professional athletes do get paid, something college athletes can only dream about. Something has to change and the system need to be reworked and re-examined.

Obama Did The Right Thing To Put a Cap On Salaries of $550,000- It’s Enough

It a new day and a new climate for Wall Street firms. If you are going to accept tax payer money, there will be strings attached. It is corporate welfare.  You take our money, then you have to be responsible how you spend the money. There will  consequences.   If you take bail out money, you will need to be accountable.  The cap is at $550,000 per year, the pundits are saying this is not a lot of money for an executive to  make.  Sounds like a lot to me. What about the rest of us who are making  maybe a tenth of that?

Come on, give me a break.  It’s our money, you don’t like it, then leave.  It is accoutability.  There is no credibility and there is no confidence in Wall Street. Banks are taking junkets, spending year end bonus on some far away location.  Many are saying that the talent may leave because they can’t make the money.  I guess they need to make the free enterprise system work for itself…. Find a new job.
